Ventilation Pipe

• Steel ventilation pipe can be used either in the standard positive pressure system or under negative pressure. The latter method is ideally suited in situations where smoke, from blasting operations, needs to be evacuated quickly, allowing for a prompt return to the work face. When transportation cost to the mine or underground is a factor, ventilation pipe can be made to measure on site, whether on surface or underground. Please discuss your particular needs with a Mansour Mining Inc. Representative. Available in spiral round or low profile spiral oval. Spiral pipe is also available in single or double rib construction for added strength. Welded round or low profile welded oval is also made to customer specifications. Lengths up to 20 ft. Diameters from 6" to 60" are available.

• FLANGE PIPE:
• The flanged end of a pipe consists of a 1/12" x 1 1/2" x 1/8" angle fully welded 360? around its circumference.
• A "Vee Lock" coupler complete with an internal rubber gasket is used to prevent air loss. FLANGELESS
• The flangeless pipe uses a wide band coupler (12"), complete with an internal rubber gasket to prevent air loss.
• Metal screws are installed around the circumference of the flange to ensure that the pipe remains secure.

• METAL SPECIFICATIONS:
• G90 galvanized or plain non galvanized steel.
• 6" to 34" diameter - 20 gauge steel (standard) or as specified.
• 36" to 60" diameter - 18 gauge steel (standard) or as specified.
